We are looking for a Financial Manger to head up our accounting team and function. If you believe you are the right person for the job, please get in touch.

The successful candidate must have/be:

• Applicants need to have a relevant 5-year tertiary qualification in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years work experience in the accounting field.
• Good working knowledge and experience in Excel, Xero and Simple Pay are essential.
• Responsibilities include processing of accounting entries, the oversight of the accounting department, full payroll function, and the financial wellbeing for the entire business. Raw materials, production, internal stock controls, internal financial processes, distribution, sales, and detailed cash flow management and forecasting need to be diligently analysed and closely monitored.
• Monthly presentation of management accounts to leadership with insights and recommendations for growth and improvement.
• A well rounded and robust corporate skillset are vital to fulfil this role properly.
• Knowledge of forex, importing and exporting is beneficial.
• A finance assistant will report into you and you will also have the support of an external CFO level resource for key high level tasks
• You will also maintain the relationship with our audit and compliance partner.
• You will sit on the leadership team of Sealand and help drive the company strategy through sound financial acumen and strategy. You will report to and work closely with the CEO.
