In this role you will work directly with our CEO, Adrian, on a number of key digital projects in the business. The growth of the Sealand brand is heavily entrenched in digital marketing across key channels including e-mail, social and paid media supported by a strong content voice. Together with Adrian, you will drive a focused project plan to deliver world class digital marketing for our brand. 

As a secondary role you will play a key part in our amazing sponsor partnerships which range from the Stormers rugby to Wine2Whales and the Otter Trail run.

Experience Level

You need to have some form of marketing degree, but you do not need years of experience to secure the role. You will learn a lot on the job and will work on projects that may seem more senior than your experience set. Thanks to close mentorship and your appetite for self learning.



The Formal Job Description


We’re looking for a hard working, passionate and highly motivated individual to join our marketing department. This individual needs to have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail as they will play a key role in digital marketing and the evaluation of Sealand’s marketing KPIs. Organisation, project management and the ability to thrive in a team environment are also vital as this individual will help with structure and planning in the marketing team. A creative mindset is important for copywriting and involvement in marketing campaigns. 


This individual will work in the marketing office alongside the marketing and creative services team and will report directly to the CEO. The position is based in Hout Bay, at The Sealand Campus.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Monthly digital marketing reports 
  • Segmentation and enrichment of email database plus database growth strategy
  • Email targeting and A/B testing
  • Website analytics and conversion rate optimisation 
  • Work with key brand partners on marketing campaigns & leveraging sponsorship rights 
  • Play an active role in setting and maintaining marketing calendar with team
  • Project management of marketing campaigns with team
  • Copywriting 
  • Play a role in helping with CRM systems
Experience and/or Educational Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
